![]() Maybe some of the secondary symbols are usable? I know ordinary brackets ("") can't be used, but maybe some others are usable: ^, ?, !, |, : etc. I've also tried binding a couple of keys via AHK between F13 & F24 and encountered the same problem as you (though I've had the key listed as "unknown" in /qbind).ĮDIT: Maybe there're joystick keys that are usable in DAoC? I can't think of any others, assuming you're rebinding the arrow keys, using insert, delete, mouse 1-5 etc. Num Lock can be Qbound but corresponds to a different key in the game (Print Screen or something iirc). Most of the other keys are mirrored elsewhere on the keyboard ("/", "-", ".", "Enter") are the only distinct numpad keys that work with my keyboard & DAoC. In this case it saves that value in charname.ini (in decimal of course, as 17,0) and saves that (incorrect) value in charname.ini If I map to E0_11 (App:Messenger), DAOC maps that key as W (00_11), truncating the E0. it works fine until I zone/reload (forcing save of charname.ini), then it just disappears. If I qbind to that, it says "Middle Mouse" in /qbind. Remap a key to scancode 00_66 (F15) in sharpkeys (and then reloading the registry of course).ĪHK window spy reports it as F15 (correctly) But I'm having a problem because they either don't work ingame, or do something random.įor example. Using either AHK or sharpkeys, I can remap those keys to something else. It would also be useful to have extra single-keys to use for followup styles (for style chaining via AHK) But both qbind to "left" in game, regardless of the state of numlock, so instead of 2 discrete keys, you only get 1 Numpad4 (00_4B) and left_arrow (14B or E0_4B) are separate scan codes. Many of the keys are recognized separately by windows, but not by the game. I've already moved all the UI/Noncombat stuff to modifiers (Alt-I for inventory, etc), or just use the slash command (/rw for realm map) if I can. ![]() ![]() What scancodes are valid for /qbinding? DAoC is obviously remapping some of them, which is confusing. ![]()
